If you are looking to multitrack record, go for the firewire version as the usb version only allows for recording of the stereo out. Also in my experience the Multimix usb16 demonstrated a large ammount of latency when recording into the client.

Thanks man! I would love to get the firewire one. I was even bidding for one on ebay, forgot the bloody end time and lost it for £100. Gutted! You have inspired me to hold my horses, save some more dosh and get the firewire version. Nice One!
What is your setup? Mine is so cobbled together I decided to make life a lot easier on myself and invest. Hopefully this will give me more time playing and less time jiggling wires about trying to get things working.
